Matamata Print

These paintings are in a different part of New Zealand and some are closer to each other and some are further away from each other it depends on which ones. All 22 paintings describe parts of New Zealand. Twenty-two is my favourite number. Another reason why I painted 22 New Zealand Landscapes is that 22 is a very easy number to remember because it is 2 times 2 in digits. 

Matamata is where Lord of the Rings was made. People who lived there lived underground.

You would hardly ever see people living anywhere underground, except for Matamata. The Lord of the Rings is a very famous movie that people have seen or heard about or read about or looked up on the internet. Tourists come from all over the world to see where the Lord of the Rings movie was filmed.
